The History of Design - I didn't know when I set out what would be discussed here. I was always proud to say I was studying "The History of Design" at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin... so that was my starting point...

A nice plughole in a sink (in a museum)
Pic I took in the National Museum in Turlough Park, in the bathroom! I liked the plughole, if that's the right term. It's just a hole, no plug, which makes sense in a public bathroom and no fiddly second material involved in the making/casting of the unit.
